Senior Product Manager

We are the largest and most recognized online social networking sites in the world. We have created a site that allows our users to ascertain and share media (i.e.: music, photos, videos, etc.) with their friends and family. We are located here in the Bay Area and are generously backed by several local investors. We want to expand our team due to the exponential growth we've been experiencing. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who has experience developing in a very high traffic consumer environment. This individual will become a part of our Product team and will assist us in continuing to define and develop our patent pending social networking technology.

Responsibilities:
Command a cross functional team of engineers and designers to determine goals, necessities and appropriate strategic approaches for our site.
Create and assign priorities, construct and deploy important features and enhancements to our site on a global scale.
Measure, analyze, and optimize results for the web site.
Generate tools, technical services and marketing collateral to allow the marketing and business development teams to work cohesively with our business partners.
Produce design requirements and relay designs to the engineering teams
Collaborate with the development team to define features and work with the quality assurance team to fix defects and aid in testing.
Ensure favorable release outcomes by conspiring with the operations team.
Cooperate with the support team to investigate and resolve customer problems.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering is preferred, Master's degree a plus.
5+ years of PM experience overseeing web/site development efforts
Capacity to execute the strategic vision and calculated rollout of a product
Ability to prioritize efficiently and eloquently express the reasoning behind decisions
Solid organizational and judgment skills are required
Ability to captain cross functional teams located in multiple regions
Capacity to flourish under pressure and produce effectively in a fast paced environment
Superb communication skills
