Senior QA Engineer - Automation 

We are an innovative, well-funded, bay area based start-up. We’ve created an enterprise application/service that will change the way companies designate, track and maintain all their business operations. We are hard at work getting ready for the upcoming international release of our much anticipated product.

Now is the time for an enthusiastic, hard working Senior QA engineer to join our ranks. This individual is needed to assist us in ensuring that our product meets the quality expectations of our toughest customers. This person must have a solid track record in test automation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Write automated functional test cases for GUI and back-end components
  • Appropriate existing manual test cases into automated test cases
  • Test .Net web services and back-end SQL databases
  • Load, performance, and stress testing of our application and service
  • Log, track, and verify the assertion of bugs
  • Identify test case deficiencies and offer guidance for improvements

Key requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in quality assurance
  • Strong experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated test cases
  • Background in developing and executing load, performance, and stress tests
  • Hands on experience with WinRunner, SilkTest, and LoadRunner
  • Solid understanding and proven abilities in C#, XML, and web services
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills 
  • Adept in end-user and functional testing
  • Proven track record for delivering exquisite, high quality code on time
