Rails Developer - Architect/Manager
Want to work with a large profitable, private company developing enterprise mobile solutions for the healthcare and medical industry? We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference developing solution software to join our team. We want a Rails Developer Architect/Manager to lead the development and future iterations of our mobile application.
Skills
• Strong Ruby skills
• Deep understanding of Rails
• Built and deployed commercial RoR or Java applications
• Strength in all the Rails fundamentals (routing, active record, migrations, etc.)
• A demonstrable knowledge of server side Java development.
• MySQL skills
• Command of common and web based protocols such as HTTP, SSL, SSH, SFTP
• Database skills such as writing queries, making indexes, and knowing more than just ActiveRecord
• Cloud services such as Amazon EC2 and S3
• The ability to lead local and offshore development teams.
• Knowledge and experience with mobile application development for deployment on iPhone, BlackBerry, and/or Android.
