Release Engineer / Tools Developer

We are looking for a first rate tools and release management developer. Do you crave to ensure that machines are properly configured? Have a crushing desire for continuous builds? Does the idea of working on releasing one of the top cutting edge products on the web put you in a tizzy? Then we’ve been waiting for you. We want to find an individual who is passionate about building and expanding our toolset and helping us create a solid services backend

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and augmenting our current release management environment using Capistrano
  • Command the internal build process and continuous integration environment
  • Cultivate the application configuration using Phing
  • Establish and maintain new service components
  • Oversee feature branches and integrations, using Subversion

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience releasing code for a large web product
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and build environments
  • Functional understanding of configuration management tools (i.e. Puppet, BASH, Chef)
  • Strong understanding of MySQL and PHP is preferred
  • Solid hands on experience using Capistrano
