Software Engineer - Flex

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and outgoing Flex developer. Do you want to work for a first rate, ever growing start up developing cutting edge Rich Internet Applications? If you have the passion and the desire to work with uber cool Graphical User Interfaces and server side data connectivity, we want you! 

Responsibilities

  • Work on characterizing precise requirements, deliverables and milestones for our new features
  • Design, create, and test features, end to end
  • Calculate, benchmark, and optimize new and existing implementations to boost performance

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience delivering robust applications 
  • Prior experience in designing web based Flex applications and desktop based AIR applications with ample use of ActionScript 3.0
  • Functional understanding of 1+ of the following frameworks: MATE, Pure MVC, Cairngorm Aptitude for building highly responsive UI’s that have the ability to react to the model via Binding. (Must have prior experience implementing binding in ActionScript and MXML.)
  • Artistic flare for Graphical UI design and programming
  • Background integrating Flash applications with other front / back end technologies (i.e. MySQL, PHP etc.)
  • Bachelors degree, or above, in CS or other relevant field
  • Prior experience working at a startup and experience developing in an Agile development life cycle is ideal
