Mobile Internet Application Software Engineer – Palo Alto, CA

We're looking for a technical mastermind to help us develop the next generation of internet based applications that extend all the way to mobile devices. Our client uses all the best parts of internet based applications, social networking & gaming, e-commerce and mobile technologies to develop internet products that consumers just love. Want to work in an energetic enthusiastic entrepreneurial environment with some of the valleys best? Well, you better have some if not most of the following skills and experience... 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong object oriented programming experience and design skills 
  • Prior experience developing applications for a variety of mobile platforms including Blackberry, iPhone, Android, etc 
  • Minimum 2 years development in Objective-C and Cocoa, C++ 
  • Strong development experience with Java based architectures including: J2EE, Frameworks (Struts, Spring), JSP, Servlets, Beans, JUnit 
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, DOM, DHTML, XML, and CSS 
  • Understanding of various Web Technologies and Web Services (REST, XML, HTTP) 
  • Solid experience development in multiple browsers including Chrome, FireFox, IE 
  • Proven database experience and competency in MySQL or SQL databases 
  • Knowledge of Tomcat server and Apache web servers 
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is desired 
  • Experience with prototyping and Agile development (XP, Scrum, etc) 
  • Prior experience with online / Ad display utilizing sponsored links usage, integration, tracking and reporting
