Senior Engineer - Professional Services - San Francisco, CA

We are a dynamic, cutting-edge startup that has been hustling and bustling for just over 2 years. We were founded by former executives and top notch engineers from Amazon, eBay, Plumtree, MySpace, and a few other innovative companies. We have secured a total of 2 rounds of angel funding all without blowing ourselves out of stealth waters. We are looking for a ROCKSTAR Senior Professional Services Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 110% customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with prospective customers
  • Provide support to our sales team with onsite and telephone sales
  • Support customer implementations by integrating web services (i.e. .Net, Java) with Jscript
  • Execute superb customer service practices by assisting our customers in generating the most amount of money using our products
  • Work closely with existing customers to help them grow, with consistency, on our platform

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Masters in CS or other Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years experience in software development
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team
  • Self starter
  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn
  • Passion for getting things done, and getting them done right
  • Excellent communication, after all this is a customer facing role
  • Experience with back end Java development
  • Well versed in SQL, experience in Postgres is ideal
  • Background in RDM (i.e. SCRUM or RAD)
  • Ability to test using JUnit and Apache Ant
  • Workable understanding of PHP, Perl, Shell scripting, C/C+

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Linux, familiarity in administration is a plus
  • Familiarity with the configuration and administration of Tomcat and Apache
  • Experience with performance tuning and testing
  • Algorithm development experience
  • Experience in a technical lead role is a plus
