Marketing Manager – Campaigns & Media Buying - San Francisco, CA

Job Description: 

  • We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Business Development team.
  • You will develop, implement, analyze and optimize traffic building strategies across multiple online channels. You will seek interactive media opportunities while leveraging your network of media contacts to buy and implement against your online media goals and budget. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Aggressively identify high value media and publishing opportunities against website traffic goals, activity and revenue targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and purchase inventory on a CPC, CPM, CPA and CPL basis.
  • Create concept and development campaign elements.
  • Collaborate with creative resources to implement ad campaigns and execute media agreements to provide high quality traffic.
  • Work with cross-departmental teams to track, analyze and optimize campaign performance and buying criteria.
  • Manage ongoing relationship with key networks, portals and publishers.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with media buying/planning, online campaign management and online advertising
  • Prior experience in SEM with 2+ years’ background in buying, optimizing and overseeing media buys on Google’s Content Network.
  • Experience buying ads from the Facebook Ads product (Experience using their bulk upload tool is a major plus)
  • Demonstrated understanding of online business and the online media world; ability to articulate the advantage and disadvantages of each media buy model
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – strong MS Excel skill
  • Excellent business acumen & in-depth understanding of Internet and/or e-commerce industry; B2B, online marketing or international trade experience is a plus.
  • Results oriented, extremely proactive & highly responsive with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • BS/BA required, MBA a plus
